The CHALLENGE

I am very inspired by Chappell Roan. Not only by her music and iconic looks, but also her advocacy and dedication to making the music industry a better place for listeners and artists is something we should all pay attention to. She has pushed the LGBTQ+ community to new heights in pop culture.

For this project, I was tasked with creating an EPK for any musical artist of my choosing.

Throughout the EPK, there is googie-styled branding to blend Chappell’s eras thus far in her career. You may be wondering… why? If you are familiar with Chappell’s work there are many visuals throughout Chappell’s music videos and marketing that are reminiscent of a 50’s diner and advertising (i.e. HOT TO GO! and “The Giver” campaign"). I thought this through line would be a great way to blend her older eras during “The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess” and newer era she is transitioning into during her “The Giver” Campaign.
